What crawled out of the refrigerator . . .

Look what I found in the refrigerator today. Today is a good day for lots of things, but this is one chore I dread. Who needs 5 nearly empty bottles of Mayonnaise? Perhaps the things we keep in our refrigerator say something about us? MMM, not me, I think someone else put this in my fridge - lol! Or that's just my excuse. But, amazing that there's this much nearly empty things in there.

The View From On Top ~
Yes, this is what it looks like when one is standing atop a 20 ft ladder attempting to scrape and paint. I've gotten quite good at running up and down this ladder, holding on to paint can, plastic bags full of tools and an extra bag for collecting paint scraps. I've done this each year for about 5 years. You notice the street is empty. What if I fell? Would anyone come hear or see me? hmmmm

These are my favorite daylilies. They are called "Prairie Moon" and it's hard to find them anymore. When I moved into my little house, I brought transplants of them and put them in the garden. Each year I divide them a little bit more. And so, they keep giving me pleasure year after year. They sort of "glow" in the moonlight. Very pretty!

Life Slows Down

I remember being 3 years old, wondering what I would be when I grew up. Here I am, 55 years old and crusing down Boomer Lane into the great beyond. I am still wondering, what will I be when I grow up? (LOL)
